This was unsolicited, following a day that was half on leadership and half on time management:
Dear Chris
Thank you for yesterday!
It was great to hear from our managers as to how well your training was received by them all and how much they enjoyed the day. There was quite a buzz as they returned to the office. I thoroughly enjoyed the parts I was able to attend and will certainly take time to ‘think’ and reflect on how I can personally improve my management skills and take on board the tips you suggested.
P********* specifically emailed me this morning and has said I could share his feedback with you. See below:
“Morning Sarah,
some positive feedback for you, in the past I was always told to stay away from management training because I was told they suck the niceness out of you, so approaching that training yesterday with a bit of trepidation I thought “what the hell let’s see how it goes”, and oh my god the guy was an absolute blast, and I totally got everything he was saying.
With not having any formal training in management and just picking it up as you go along plus learning from previous bad and good managers you sort of wonder if you are actually doing it right, but everything he was saying yesterday I could totally relate to and thought to myself “I’m doing most of the stuff he was talking about” which was a big plus for me – and also picking up a hell of a lot more that I can use for future reference.
Anyway I totally enjoyed it and can we have more from him.
