People keep asking me to work with them on exciting new ideas, and I wish I could, but all of us have finite time. I read somewhere that you should limit yourself to three or maybe five projects at any one time, and say no to anything new until a space is freed up.
I currently have TEN projects on the go!
As well as the daily stuff like getting my roof repaired, booking holidays, and playing games with my grand daughter.
So if I have to say no, it’s not personal – and for your amusement here’s what I’m doing at the moment, and until I can get it down to five I don’t think it would be sensible to take on anything new:
| Making video courses . | A few more still to make, for Linkedin learning and udemy |
| Teaching face to face and over zoom | Doing less these days, especially trying to avoid travel and overnight stays away from home, but still doing more than many full time trainers |
| Project Management book | Written and launched, but still recording the audio version. It’s a lot of reading! |
| Mr Gantt – project management software | Involved with the development of this new and brilliant software, aiming to be the best in the world – easy to use, but powerful.. |
| Revolution Club and Lost At Sea | Playing music in two bands – one jazzy and one rock. |
| Fractal Management | Investigating and making videos to bring this great idea to a wider audience. It needs to be heard. It’s very radical but could be the answer that Europe and the US needs to the low cost producers. |
| Creative Resources For Trainers | Helping others to make video courses. |
| World Happiness Project | Non profit group, working on ways to spread the word – there ARE practical things you can do. |
| Online resource for people who want to become trainers | Videos and written resources for an affordable price – but without coaching from me. |
| Management Education Resources for Schools | Sharing my video courses for free with schools in the UK and abroad. |
