To get established in any new business, for example as a Management Trainer, the amount of selling is high – but reduces as time goes on.
The more work you have done, and the more customers you have served in total,
- the more repeats you get,
- the more other things they will want to buy from you,
- the more referrals you’ll get,
- and the more enquiries will come from your established website and the body of work that is your blog, YouTube channel, and linkedin connections.

Eventually you will be fully booked without having to do any selling.
And yet the repeats and referrals and incoming enquires will continue to increase, at a level higher than you can cope with, so you will need to either employ people (generally a bad idea) or put your prices up.
Now you are securely established, using all of your working time on income generation, – and maybe able to use the time you used to use for selling either for
- extra income earning,
- for thinking
- and developing new products,
- or (best of all) for holidays.

PS – if you want to become self-employed and you think MANAGEMENT TRAINING might be the route for you, then contact me at www.successfultrainers.com to find out how I can help you to get there!
