I know you have to earn a living doing what you do – don’t we all? – but please save your time and don’t bother to try to sell me any of the following:
- Search Engine Optimisation
- Website redesign
- Copywriting of marketing emails (with free sample enclosed)
- You write blog posts for my website
- Can I get you a job at Linkedin (I don’t work there)
- Can I get you a job at my company (I am just me!)
- I pay to advertise in your magazine or on your website
- You as a VA (they are great, I already have one)
- Vague mysterious unspecified business opportunity – when did these ever turn out to be something great? If it was great you’d be open about it
- Stocks or a cyber-scheme that is “certain to work”
- Love and Marriage (I’m already married)
- A message starting with just “Hi….” – we already know that this is going to turn into one of the others above.
