Is it ever possible to have too much?

I think yes!

Of course, learning is one of the most important things for your happiness and your success – always be learning, your brain is the most important thing, etc.

BUT I do sometimes see the following:

1 – Analysis paralysis: “I’ll launch my product/business when I’ve done just one more bit of research”.

2 – More fun than working. I’ll just do a bit more reading / watching training videos / researching on youTube. Sometimes it feels as if even PhDs are an excuse to avoid going into the real world and getting stuck in. (Though not always – scientific PhDs can be really valuable – occasionally!)

3 – Hypnotised by celebs: there are people who spend a fortune on Tony Robbins, Grant Cardone, etc etc, whoever is the latest guru, in the hope that just by going on the courses they’ll end up successful like them. Yes, do some training, but then put it into practice. And the big (expensive) names probably won’t tell you anything different to what you’ll get from a well-chosen £15 course on udemy. Perhaps more inspirational though, I’ll admit that, but then it’s a drug to keep going back for more inspiration…..
