None!
You can buy it, read books, go on courses, write it from your experience, or get it from me. Or a mixture of all of these!
You probably know more than you realise – assuming you are going to teach something you are good at and are interested in.
You won’t need as much material as you think, once you add interactive materials: breakout groups, team tasks, role plays, case studies etc
We’ll build it up from bullet points to an outline, and then to a full and timed teaching plan with activities.
If you’re on my Successful Trainers programme I’ll supply you with as much material as you want in order to get you started, or to fill in any gaps.
You can gradually add more material from reading and research and attending courses, and from ideas you have during the first few courses as you run them. I still learn from my course participants after doing this for 20 years, and I still realise there are things I don’t know, or haven’t thought about, or need to add to my courses – I am constantly adjusting and improving them even now. That’s part of the fun!
It’s absolutely fine that some of your teachings material is not original to you – in fact, it’s preferable. You HAVE to cover the classic theories! Video here on inventing training material – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8qPI2KDFvU
