Some people read the books but don’t do anything with what they learn – they keep reading another one, hoping to find an easier way to succeed.
Others are wading in there doing stuff – selling, negotiating, managing, etc – without investing in some reading or training. ……why re-invent the wheel?
So it would seem to be obvious to do both – read and act
Then there’s the element of luck:
Where are you? Can you read more, learn more? Could you act more on what you know?
