Numbers

Courses are for between 4 and 20 people with some exceptions (e.g. presentation skills has a maximum of 8 and team/leadership courses are best with at least 8.

Courses are run for one organisation -open courses where individuals can attend will be arranged according to demand.

Subject

We have standard subjects as listed, and we can design courses for combinations of subjects or special subjects if you wish.

Tailoring

We specialise in tailored courses that are designed to fit your needs exactly. Even if you order a “standard” course like Time Management we will tailor it in two ways – first, we will ask you if you want us to cover delegation, stress, being assertive about saying No etc, and if so to what extent you want each subject covered; second, we will adapt during the course itself to the participants – what do they want to know about, what problems do they have, what do they already know? So every course is different.

Time

Most courses start at either 9.00 or 9.30 and finish at either 4.30 or 5.00. We can do other times if you wish, including evenings and weekends if required.

Location

Most of our customers have a room on site that they use for training, and this is the cheapest option. Some of our customers like to go off site to avoid interruptions during the course, or to improve the feel of the course, and they often have a local hotel that they know and like. If necessary we can find and book a hotel for you.

Bookings and cancellations

We can pencil in courses if you want us to hold a particular date for you. Once a course is in our diary we won’t sell the date to anyone else, whatever the circumstances, without consulting with you first. You can confirm the date by phone or e-mail, or change it if you want to. If you cancel or postpone a confirmed course with less than four weeks to go then we will make a charge of 50% of the course fee, or, if the course is cancelled with less than 14 days to go, 100% of the fee.
